Mental Health Workout

Mental workout? Well I guess this can be in different ways for each person. Some like yoga, some may do some running or bicycling. There are many studies that help with growth factors of new nerve cells.  The brain is positively affected by exercise that this can increase chemicals in our brains.  Exercise of any kind will have a positive mental benefit.

I personally am not one who exercises. I used to do yoga everyday, but I just have gotten to be so tired. I wonder if it could be from a full time job, school, kids, a house, a husband, etc......I guess I could try to take some time out and take a walk every day.

  1. The mental functions can reflect unproductive relationships and encourages an inability to adapt to their outside environments. Mental illness can be clearly described as an illness that can cause emotional or behavioral disturbance in thoughts and actions. People who develop mental illnesses have clinical cognitive disorders. Diabetes is not a mental disorder in its entirety, however the long term effects of the disease can mimic a patient with a mental illness – however, what if we could teach patients and people to become more mentally fit? What have you implemented into your life to become more mentally fit?

  2. I hope your week gets better hun. Your life seems very full. My grandmother always used to tell me if the garden is to full "you have to pick some weeds". Meaning lighten the load and clear a path. I am here to listen if you need. What else is on your mind?

  3. I hear you Jennifer. I also have school, work, wife, kids, etc... Just remember that you can do it. Most of what life throws at us, we walk onto willingly. And there is a light at the end of the tunnel. School will be done someday and if the house is less than tidy while your plate is full then there will be time there to catch up later. And taking time for a walk is a great idea, you cannot be there for others if you are never there for yourself. Keep your chin up.
