Mindfulness or meditation has helped me to be calmer throughout my day. Even at night I try to do one of these exercises to help me sleep and get out all the thoughts in my head. What I have noticed though is that I have been having more vivid dreams. I wonder why that is?
I guess the saying from our book can apply to health and wellness by having an understanding of another persons feelings. From working in health care I feel that I can not be understanding of another person completely. I don't feel that it is an obligation. I would not use that word. I feel that it is a skill or a gift maybe, but not an obligation. I think I can implement psychological and spiritual growth in my life by being kinder to myself. I should not let the little things bother me. I am getting better at that.

Hello Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteGreat Post. I wonder why your dreams are more vivid also. Maybe because your mind is clear and you are at peace while resting due to your meditative exercises before falling to sleep. What do you think?
Hello Jennifer
ReplyDeleteI agree with want you said about not being able to understand a person completely. There is no possible way that we can be experts on everything in life that a patient may present us with. I think that being able to assist with basic knowledge and knowing were the patients issues may be better handled is all that is needed. Just because we are health professionals we are not the holders of all answers when it comes to health or wellness.
Do you believe our dreams can lead us to our path in life? Or at least hint us in the right direction? You may be "cleansing" your mind so that you can open up your intuitive side. Do you find the vivid dreams threatening or exhilarating?
